Nasty Neck’s Dark Market

Nasty Neck’s Dark Market — with Neckface

Creative Direction · Brand Collaboration · Product Design · Event Production

Partnering with artist Neckface, I co-created Nasty Neck’s Dark Market—a chaotic, limited-edition collaboration that blurred the lines between art installation, pop-up retail, and performance. Together, we developed a full collection of enamel pins, T-shirts, candles, silkscreen prints, and one-off art objects.

A major part of the process involved driving around Los Angeles sourcing random found items—from dolls and beer kegs to folding chairs and motorcycle helmets—for Neckface to customize by hand. Each piece became a raw extension of his world, infused with spontaneity and dark humor.

The project culminated in a one-day pop-up shop staged from the back of my 1967 Chevy El Camino at the LACC Swap Meet, alongside a short-lived online release that sold out immediately. Nasty Neck’s Dark Market existed as a single moment—one and done—a true underground edition that merged street art, skate culture, and collectible design.
