Wasted Collective — Brand Identity & Typography System

Creative Direction · Typography · Visual Language Development · Sustainable Brand Design

Wasted Collective (based out of Potato Head Bali) is dedicated to transforming discarded materials into purposeful design, redefining waste as a material of the future. I was brought on during the brand’s foundational phase to help establish its graphic language and visual identity system, exploring how sustainability could be communicated through form, color, and attitude.

Wasted Co. works with a wide range of recycled materials, including recycled HDPE, damaged and used linens, crushed glassware, waste cooking oil, recycled styrofoam, and seashell waste—each repurposed into beautiful, functional goods that carry both environmental and emotional value.

My visual approach mirrored this ethos: organic yet structured, bold yet human. I developed a library of experimental typography, abstract geometry, and vibrant color studies that evoked nature, renewal, and feel-good energy. The result was a flexible visual foundation that reflected the brand’s Bali roots and its global sustainability mission.
