Allen Iverson — “The Answer”


Creative Direction · Illustration · Typography · Design Strategy

Commissioned by Mitchell & Ness and Bleacher Report, I was tasked with celebrating the career of Allen Iverson — one of the most fearless and influential players to ever touch a court. My goal was to capture both the physical artistry of his crossover and the mental precision that made him unstoppable.

The design centers on Iverson’s connection between mind, body, and ball — visualized through circular linework linking his head, hands, and feet, representing the total control he had over every motion. 360º. His stare locks in like a data scan, processing opponents at light speed. 

Eleven stars at his feet symbolize his eleven All-Star appearances, while the spider web detail on the sleeve pays homage to his iconic shooting sleeve — a look that defined basketball culture and influenced fashion far beyond the game. The back jersey motif honors his legacy as “#3 — The Answer.”
