There are very few professions I have more respect for than firefighters. When the recent wildfires swept through Los Angeles, I was looking for any way to support the efforts. While graphic design pales in comparison to what these men and women do every day, I was honored when my friend and LAFD firefighter Nash Roussel reached out about updating the Field Incident Management Team 2 (FIMT2) logo.

I immediately paused other projects to focus on the redesign—creating an updated LAFD seal and a bold, modern “FIMT2” secondary mark that captured the strength, precision, and unity of their team. It’s a small contribution compared to their service, but one I’m deeply proud of.
